I Posted Fake Videos on MyVidster. They Made $12,533.

Fake video bookmarks on MyVidster have earned $10,033 from Stripchat and $2,500 from Chaturbate so far, both on revshare. I have paused posting, but I might return to it later.

Quick answer: In 2024 I found that MyVidster showed the source page when it could not read a video. Fake video bookmarks brought visitors from Google. Their spending after signup has earned me $10,033 from Stripchat and $2,500 from Chaturbate on revshare. I posted 90,127 bookmarks; none of their videos load now because they are banned. I have paused for now and might return later.

Key takeaways

  • $10,033 from Stripchat and $2,500 from Chaturbate: $12,533 in revenue so far, before costs. Both revshare totals can still grow.
  • The locker had to look real. It asked about Stripchat first: NO led to signup, YES moved to Chaturbate and then other programs.
  • RSS video titles let my MyVidster bookmarks rank in Google. Feed thumbnails made the fake player look more credible; traffic fell sharply after the December 2024 peak.
  • After the 2026 rebuild, newly bought domains were banned the same day.
  • All 90,127 bookmarks I posted across 109 channels are banned: none of the videos load. Repeated clips count again.
  • I have paused for now and might return. Parent-page redirects, cookie stuffing and a casino player for parasite SEO were possibilities I did not try.

In 2024, I found that MyVidster could display my own page inside its video player. I used it to post fake video bookmarks and send visitors to cam-site signup offers.

So far, the project has generated $10,033 from Stripchat and $2,500 from Chaturbate: $12,533 in revenue before costs. Both programs paid on revshare, so existing signups can keep generating revenue even while I am no longer posting.

Stripchat and Chaturbate revenue bars grow to $10,033 and $2,500. The total reaches $12,533 so far, with open ends showing that revshare can continue.

How the bookmarks worked

MyVidster is a mostly NSFW video-bookmarking site, especially popular with the gay community. It ranked well in Google when I used it and still ranks reasonably well today. MyVidster lets users save videos from other websites to public channels. In 2024, I noticed some of my fake players appearing there. When MyVidster could not read a video, it displayed the source page in an iframe instead.

I tested it with a fresh account and got the same result. I could put my own page in the player slot, while the bookmark looked like a normal video listing. Visitors found those listings through Google.

How the locker worked

My page showed a still from a real clip with a play button. There was no playable video. Clicking play opened a locker presented as a human-verification check. The locker had to look real: a credible player and a believable verification screen made visitors take the request seriously.

The questions followed this sequence:

  1. “Do you have a Stripchat account?” NO → create an account through my affiliate link. YES → ask about Chaturbate.
  2. “Do you have a Chaturbate account?” NO → create an account through my affiliate link. YES → ask about the next program.
  3. The questions continued until the visitor reached a program where they had no account.

The idea was to find a site where the visitor did not already have an account and send them to its signup page. Registering did not unlock a video. Revenue came later, if the referred user spent money on the cam site.

Stripchat came first and generated about four times the revenue of Chaturbate.

Play opens a credible-looking verification locker. The Stripchat account question branches: NO asks for a Stripchat signup, while YES opens the Chaturbate account question. Chaturbate NO asks for a Chaturbate signup; YES continues to the next program. No video unlocks.

Posting and traffic

I started with about ten free accounts. Posting ran through MyVidster’s API using n8n and Webshare proxies, with spun titles. Occasionally, two titles matched, the URL was rejected as a duplicate, and the posting chain stopped.

I used MyVidster for parasite SEO. I took video titles from RSS feeds on non-gay video-leak sites such as ThotHub.org and used them as bookmark titles. My MyVidster pages could then rank in Google for those leaked video names and bring visitors to the locker.

When a feed included thumbnails, I reused those too. The real title and thumbnail made the fake player look like the video the visitor had searched for.

MyVidster also went offline for weeks, sometimes taking the API or the whole site down. Posting stopped and Google traffic suffered. I remember the CEO posting casually about the outages, but those posts are gone now.

After the December 2024 peak, my search traffic dropped sharply. The chart below shows organic positions falling through the first half of 2025. I suspected a Google spam update, but I have not confirmed the cause.

Domains and bans

When the first domain was blocked from new bookmarks, I bought about ten .eu domains and paid someone on Upwork to create about fifty more accounts.

In 2026, MyVidster was rebuilt. Posting briefly became faster, then domains were banned the same day they were added, including domains bought that day. Continuing meant buying another round of domains and accounts.

A loop moves through a domain block, new domains, more accounts and posting. After the 2026 rebuild, buying and banning happen on the same day. Posting is paused, with a possible return later.

Across 109 channels, I posted 90,127 bookmarks in total. The channel pages still showed those rows on 2 October 2026, but none of the videos loaded: they were banned. That is everything I uploaded, counted as bookmarks. It is not 90,127 unique videos, because the same clip could appear on several channels.

109 channel tiles and a counter show all 90,127 bookmarks posted. The tiles turn grey: banned, no videos load. The count covers all uploads, with repeated clips counted again.

I might return to it

I have not continued for now. Replacing domains and accounts after each ban became repetitive, and the traffic depended on both MyVidster and Google. I might pick it up again later. The old revshare signups can still pay in the meantime.

There were other possible uses I did not try. The iframe could redirect the whole parent page, including to a destination serving a 301, and potentially be used for cookie stuffing. Another option was to replace it with a casino player and use MyVidster’s search visibility for parasite SEO.

I think those options could still work, along with the original locker. I have not tested them since the rebuild.

If you have any questions about the experiment, ask me in the comments. I’ll do my best to answer.
